我的英語學習大致分為兩個階段，“外向型學習”和“內在型學習”。

由于我就讀的小學當時尚未普及英語教育，所以我剛進杭外時，英語基礎幾乎為零。

但現在看來，零基礎的學生似乎非常適合杭外的英語教育，因為這免去了老師糾正你之前學習偏差的工作，就如在一張白紙上畫畫比在一張初稿上作修改更方便一樣。

我天性開朗外向。

在我最初接觸英語時，這種外向型的性格給了我很大的幫助。

上課時，我會積極抓住每一次表現的機會，說英語、唱英語歌、演英語短劇、做英語演講等各種形式的教學安排基本上我都會參與。

課余時間老師會組織各色各樣的英語活動，比如英語配音、戲劇表演和英語小故事比賽，我也會積極報名參加。

因此，我幸運地獲得了更多說英語的機會，練就了在公眾面前表達自己的能力并培養了學習英語的興趣。

雖然我參與的活動多與英語口語有關，但我所收獲的確不只局限于口語方面。

杭外形形色色的英語活動除了鍛煉口語之外，對英語語感和學習興趣培養的作用也是十分顯著的。

我初一時的英語成績徘徊在班級下游，但初三的時候已經穩定在中上水平了。

然而平時我并沒有刻意花時間去提升自己的英語筆試成績。

我覺得這應歸功于我豐富的英語活動經歷。

總之，初中的英語學習，重點應該在參與老師安排的各項英語教學活動中來，沒有必要埋頭鉆研英語筆試的內容。

前者是杭外英語教育的特色，學生應該充分利用。

高一時期，我在英語學習上遇到了一些的瓶頸。

我在英語活動中有著出色的表現，但我缺乏內在的深厚積淀，給人一種華而不實的感覺。

從那起，我開始將學習的重點放到內在的積累上來。

在高二階段，我系統地自學了高中英語語法，有意識地擴充自己的英語閱讀量并在該學年堅持每天晚上熄燈前聽讀cnn新聞聽力30分鐘。

平時說英語時有意識地訓練自己表達的邏輯性，有意識地運用一些新學的詞匯和句型，使得自己的演說更有內容。

高中英語學習的重點應該是注重內在積淀，扎實掌握所學知識。

其中持續堅持的閱讀習慣、系統自學習慣、聽音習慣等扮演了非常重要的角色。

因為它確保你每天有穩定的時間接觸英語。

必須強調的是，積累的過程是非常漫長的，它可能陪伴你一生。

As the picture shows, when the boy is learning at home, his father chooses to watch him closely in a nearby chair and even threatens to prevent the child"s sleep until twelve o"clock. Naturally, the father"s behavior and words have affected the boy strongly and negatively. As we can see, the child is holding his book upside down and pretending to give whole of his attention to study. Maybe he is afraid of his father and means to pretend to learn until twelve o"clock. Certainly, the boy can hardly learn anything efficiently in this way. What is more, the father may find the unsatisfying result sooner or later.In my ponit of view, the picture demonstrates a poor educational mathod of some parents nowadays. They intend to supervise their children"s learning and help them achieve a more satisfying result. However, reality does not accord with their hopes. This method turns out to be a failure: the children often tend to be more absent-minded and even anxious during their learning under their parents" supervision. That is to say, the kind of supervision is just a waste of time. Neither the child or the parent is able to harvest anything. In essence, it shows a lack of trust and confidence between children and their parents. If parents can give more trust to their children and let them learn on their own, the result will be much more satisfying probably.
